SQS Visibility Timeout

With SQS's visibility timeout, you can set a timeout for a message. In this period of time, a message is invisible to other consumers. If the message is not deleted within the timeout, it will be visible again. A visibility timeout that is too short can cause messages to be processed multiple times. A too long timeout can cause messages to be stuck in the queue for a long time.
